You Made the World Brighter: Tribute to a Friend

Something your hand touched some way, so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you’re there-― Ray Bradbury These thoughts filled my mind as I remembered the people I’ve met along the way, each leaving a lasting impression on me. One face stood out warmly; it was of Santosh Sir. My first encounter with Santosh Sir was nearly a decade ago when I was assigned a cabin in the training and placement cell at the college. It was actually an interview cabin, and there were five identical cabins. When given a choice, I selected the corner cabin with windows all around.
